On 11-12-11, I was honored to stand next to my life-long friend, Lillie, as she made the greatest commitment to her best friend. It was a beautiful, crisp, fall day, with colorful leaves everywhere and a blue sky; the perfect day for a wedding. Lillie was so calm and I could see that she was so excited to marry Brad, and so content with the man that she would spend the rest of her life with. I think it is such a special honor to get to spend the final minutes with a friend before they walk down the aisle to their future. There is always this unique, consuming happiness in the room and it is so exciting to share that experience with a person that means so much to you. Lillie, I love you and hope your days together bring you all the happiness and love you both deserve! Here are my favorite shots from the wedding weekend :)

Brad's mom got this for Lillie and Brad. I thought it was just precious!
an unexpected surprise :)
Look at the love on her face, makes me so happy!
Last kiss before the wedding!!
This is the smaller chapel, at the church, where Brad's parents were married. Lillie got ready for her big day about five steps away from this spot. How special!
A special hankie and pearl bracelet given to Lillie from her mom.
The hankie was Lillie's grandmother's. You can still see her lipstick on it and smell a hint of her perfume.
I couldn't figure out how to rotate this picture, sorry. Look closely and you will see the lipstick on the hankie.

AH! I just love the happiness!
LOVE!! His first baby girl to walk down the aisle.
The lace was breathtaking on Lillie's dress and the buttons all down the back. So simple, beautiful and classic!
I love this! I think she looks like an angel with the veil around her.
CONGRATULATIONS Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy!
