On 11-12-11, I was honored to stand next to my life-long friend, Lillie, as she made the greatest commitment to her best friend. It was a beautiful, crisp, fall day, with colorful leaves everywhere and a blue sky; the perfect day for a wedding. Lillie was so calm and I could see that she was so excited to marry Brad, and so content with the man that she would spend the rest of her life with. I think it is such a special honor to get to spend the final minutes with a friend before they walk down the aisle to their future. There is always this unique, consuming happiness in the room and it is so exciting to share that experience with a person that means so much to you.
